The author's attitude towards actions or events in the story are happy, because most of the scences were not sad or dreadful, most of the events happened in the story are happy.
2. Is the story humorous or tragic or frightening? Does the author want you to laugh or cry, to feel happy or sad, to experience anger or fear?
The story was humorous, it was not tragic or frightening at all. The author wants us to laugh and cry at the same time and also to feel happy to the main character's new life and to feel sad to the character which Lalla left him. It is actually depending on different points of views, some people can feel happy with Lalla and some people can also feel sad for Allan.
3. What is the author's attitude toward characters or the narrator? Does the author like or dislike, trust or mistrust the charcters or the narrator?
The author's attitude toward the charcters was happy and frightening, the author wants the character to be happy at the end but she has made the characters felt in some conflicts first. The author's also wanted the narrator to be a little shocked and confused, the author didn't really like the character because she has not given enough information to the narrator to give to the readers. The author do trust both the characters and the narrator.
